The Appaloosa

The Appaloosa is a breed of horse known for its markings, a unique leopard spotted coat. There is evidence of leopard spotted horses back to the  Paleolithic era in Europe, the people of the American Pacific Developed the American Breed. The breed fell into decline for many decades. Today, the Appaloosa is one of the most popular horses in the USA. The Appaloosa is a stock horse and also used in western riding. Westen competitions include roping, cutting and reining.
